New Toshiba’s AMD Llano-based laptop
Toshiba has already started to accept pre-orders for its new laptop based on AMD Llano platform. It features 2.3GHz quad-core AMD A6 processor with Turbo Core support, HD 6520G graphics accelerator, and 17.3-inch display with 1600x900px resolution. The laptop also got 4GB RAM, 640GB hard drive, cardreader, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, webcam, HDMI output. The operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. In US Toshiba Satellite L775D will cost about $620.
Lenovo IdeaPad S100 netbook
Amazon has just started to accept pre-orders for Lenovo IdeaPad S100 netbook that was announced in the beginning of 2011. This computer is powered by Windows 7 Home Starter operating system and has 10-inch display with 1024x600px, 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 processor, 1GB RAM, 250GB internal storage, three USB 2.0 ports, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cardreader. The laptop measures 269х168х15.2mm and weights 1.3kg. The price of Lenovo IdeaPad S100 is $330. Later Lenovo will also launch a version of the netbook equipped with dual-core Atom N570 processor.
New Lenovo’s ultrathin notebook
At Computex 2011 exhibition Lenovo demonstrated ultrathin laptop – IdeaPad U300s. It is based on Intel Sandy Bridge platform and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. The list of specification of this laptop includes Core i3 processor, 12.5-inch display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, VGA output, LAN, two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports. It is expected that Lenovo IdeaPad U300s notebook will become available in next few months. The price is expected to be lower than $1000.
Gigabyte Booktop M2432 laptop
Gigabyte announced its new Booktop series laptop. Gigabyte Booktop M2432 is a notebook based on Intel Sandy Bridge platform. It features a pluggable doc-station that has GeForce GT 440 graphics card, additional battery and some ports including USB, HDMI, D-Sub and DVI. The laptop itself has 14-inch display with 1366x768px resolution, second generation Intel Core processor, USB 3.0 port, Intel HD 3000 integrated graphics, 1.3MP webcam, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DVD optic drive. The operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium. The device weights 1.8kg. No word about release date and price.
Fujitsu Loox F-07C
Fujitsu has just officially introduced its new smartphone that was first shown last month. Fujitsu Loox F-07C is positioned as a world’s first smartphone that is based on Intel Atom platform and can run both on Windows 7 and Symbian operating systems. This smartphone has 4-inch capacitive touchscreen with 1024x600px resolution, 1.2GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB RAM, 32GB SSD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB port, HDMI output. The device has two cameras – 5.1MP sensor on the back side and 0.3MP front-facing webcam. The dimensions are 125х61х19.8mm, the weight is 218g. Fujitsu Loox F-07C will become available in Japan in next two months and will cost $865.
NEC VersaPro VT Win7 tablet computer
Japanese NEC has just officially announced its new tablet computer that is positioned as a device for corporate users. In contrast to many other tablets it runs not on Android but on Windows 7 operating system. NEC VersaPro VT is based on Intel Oak Trail platform with 1.5GHz processor and has 10-inch capacitive touchscreen with 1280x800px resolution, GMA 600 graphics accelerator, 2GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. The release of this device will take place in September.
Toshiba Tecra A11-1HZ
Toshiba has just started shipping of its new Tecra series laptop. Toshiba Tecra A11-1HZ features Intel Core i3-380M dual-core processor with 2.53GHz clock, 15.6-inch display with 1366x768px resolution, 4GB DDR3 RAM, integrated graphics card by Intel. Other specifications include 320Gb hard drive, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Blueooth, DVD optic drive, cardreader, 1.3MP webcam, Express Card slot, and Mini DisplayPort output. The laptop comes with pre-installed Windows 7 Professional and costs EUR769.
New AMD Fusion-based laptop by Gateway
Gateway has just release its new laptop based on AMD Fusion hardware platform. Gateway NV51B05u features AMD E-350 dual-core processor with 1.6GHz clock, Radeon HD 6310 graphics system, 15.5-inch display with 1366x768px resolution and LED highlight. The laptop also has 3GB DDR3 RAM, 1.3MP webcam, HDMI output, three USB 2.0 ports, Wi-Fi, gigabit LAN. The operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium. The price of Gateway NV51B05u starts at $400.
Fujitsu Stylistic Q550 Win7 tablet
Fujitsu Technology Solution (previously known as Fujitsu Siemens) has just announced its first tablet computer based on Intel Oak Trail platform. Fujitsu Stylistic Q550 runs on Windows 7 operating system and is equipped with 10-inch IPS multi-touch capable screen with 1280x800px resolution, 2GB RAM, 32GB or 64GB internal storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, miniHDMI output, SD external memory card slot, 3.5mm headphones jack, stereo loudspeaker, USB 2.0 port. There is also optional 3G modem supporting GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA+ networks. Fujitsu Stylistic Q550 has been already available in Europe for EUR699.
Toshiba Dynabook Qosmio T750 chameleon laptop
Yesterday Toshiba showed its new laptop. The main feature of Toshiba Dynabook Qosmio T750 is not its list of specifications but its design. Depending on angle of view this device has different color – blue, green or purple. This effect is made possible through multiple nano-technology layers applied on top of another. In other respects Toshiba Dynabook Qosmio T750 is quite usual middle-class laptop – 15.6-inch display with 1366x768px resolution, 2.66GHz Intel Core i5-480M processor, 4GB of RAM, 720GB hard drive, Harman Kardon loud speakers, Wi-Fi, HDMI output. At first Toshiba Dynabook Qosmio T750 laptop will become available in Japan. No word about price.
ZOTAC ZBOX ID41 and ZOTAC ZBOX ID41 Plus nettops
ZOTAC company has just released its two new nettops. The only difference between ZOTAC ZBOX ID41 and ZOTAC ZBOX ID41 Plus is that the last one has preinstalled 2GB RAM and 250GB hard drive while the ID41 has empty slots. So its owners can plug any other size HDD and RAM module. The nettop has 1.8GHz Intel Atom D525 dual-core processor, NVIDIA Ion graphics system, DVI-I, HDMI output, 6-in-1 card reader. It is also notable that the nettops are equipped with two USB 3.0 ports. Other four ports are USB 2.0.
